We gather on Sundays at 9:30 am & 11am, with great activities for children at the same times.

Our Mennonite Brethren Connection

Bethany Church is a member of the Pacific District of Mennonite Brethren (MB) Churches and the United States Conference of Mennonite Brethren (MB) Churches. The Mennonite Brethren are an Anabaptist, Evangelical denomination, with a North American presence since the 1870’s. You can read more about MB’s here: http://www.usmb.org/about-us

Bethany Church History
Bethany Church formally organized in January, 1942, as the first MB Church in Fresno, after some members and friends from Reedley MB Church had established a Sunday School and outreach activities in Fresno.  By 1945 they were worshiping in their own facilities at Olive and Orchard Streets in Fresno, a building that is now home to the Fresno Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church. In 1980 the church purchased the land at its current location, and moved into new facilities at the end of 1986.

Other churches that started in Fresno with Bethany’s assistance include Butler MB Church, College Community Church, North Fresno MB Church, and Mountain View Community Church.

Today’s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Objectives

OUR MISSION: We are leading those apart from God to come fully alive by finding their way into the grace and truth of Jesus Christ and follow him together.

OUR VISION: We see a church fully alive, international and intergenerational, glorifying God through multiplication, unity and maturity.

OUR OBJECTIVES: We believe the church is at its best when we pursue spiritual maturity, unity and multiplication.
